Second Annual Ornament Swap Reveal

Today is the reveal for Sally Russick's Second Annual Christmas Ornament Swap Blog Hop.  Anyone who signed up to participate was paired with another blogger.  We were to make an ornament for our partner.  The only rule was to use an art bead or a hand beaded bead.   I was paired with Jeanette Blix Ryan

Jeanette sent me this beautifully soldered ornament.

The front and back of the ornament.

This is the ornament I sent Jeanette.

I made the tag to send with it because of my obsession with tag making!

This was a fun swap.  I love making ornaments and I've made most of the ornaments on our tree.  For this one I beaded the three crystal beads and got to play with wire too!  Two of my favorite things.

Be sure to visit the other participants in the hop.

  1. Oh...Jeannette's ornament is just gorgeous - right down to the most awesome hangar made of garland! I love the antique heirloom feel of this piece! Love that you gifted her one of your tags, too! And...there is nothing more satisfying than working with wire, is there! Beautiful!

  4. Maryanne, I love the vintage style of the ornament that Jeanette made for you, her soldered pendants are always so beautiful. I also have to tell you at I love all the sparkle of the ornament you sent Jeanette and those coils are perfect. Now, ornaments aside, that tag you made is gorgeous!! I've tried distressing paper which didn't go very well, I may have to pick your brain about tag making!

Thank you so much for taking the time to participate in the hop. Have a very merry Christmas!
