If you love beautiful beadwork then head on over to Scarlett Lanson's site
thebeadersmuse.com to see what the muse was and what it inspired! The work is wonderful. The judges had a very difficult time, I'm sure. And Scarlett is amazing to pull together a contest that has become international.
No, my entry didn't win a prize, but I had fun working on it and I now have a great freeform necklace that I just love!
This is the necklace and here is a close up of the Muse as I used it.
Thanks for stopping by. Have a great day!
LOVE this piece! The free form works so beautifully in these colors and with the MUSE! Well done!
ReplyDeleteMaryanne,
ReplyDeleteYour necklace is breathtaking! I am always amazed at how so many beautiful jewelry pieces come out of the same components! Great job.
Nancy
Thank you, Amy and Nancy. I had a lot of fun working on this piece. I love free form and I thought the colors worked well. Even though I liked the muse, it wasn't something I would have chosen to work with, which is what is so great about this contest. But, in the end, I loved the way it worked with the free form travelling over it. Thanks again for visiting the blog and for the compliments!
